Mounting and dismounting bearings on tapered shafts or sleeves is often both difficult and time-consuming engineering. With the SOLY hydraulic nut, such problems can be reduced. The force of the piston pushed into the nut by the oil pump is sufficient to mount and dismount the bearing effortlessly, accurately and safely. All hydraulic nuts are supplied with a quick coupler to connect to the hydraulic pump.
The SOLY HYDNUT Hydraulic Nut for Dismantling Bearings is an innovative solution engineered for professionals seeking precision and ease in bearing maintenance. This product targets industries like heavy machinery, automotive, and manufacturing, where bearing dismantling requires safety, efficiency, and reliability. Below, we explore the key aspects of its target audience and real-world feedback.
Scope of use and principle of operation
Scope of use
- Mounting and dismounting bearings.
- Paper-making machinery, cement machinery, ship metallurgy and other fields.
- Installation and dismantling of propellers, rudder tiles, etc.; and
- Disassembling the joint surface of high pressure.
- Train wheels, couplings, flywheels and gears, etc.;
- Mounting and dismounting back tapered bore bearings with an inner diameter of 50mm or more.
Working Principle
SL-HM hydraulic nut is a high-tech product of our company, and its working principle is to use a simple ‘T-handle’ to rotate the ‘pressurised screw’ to press in the ‘pressurised piston’. At this time, the sealing hydraulic pressure increases and squeezes out the ‘ring piston’ and thus tightens the rotating tools (washers, tools, etc.). At the same time, you can check whether the scale of the ‘thrust indicator’ is the determined thrust value.
Product Advantages
- SL一HYDNUT hydraulic nuts are suitable for mounting and dismounting bearings with a tapered back bore of 50mm or more internal diameter.
- This method is easier and saves time than the mechanical method.
- SL一HYDNUT lower hydraulic nuts can be supplied in metric or imperial thread designs;
- Nuts without threaded holes are also available for some more specialised cases.
- The SL-HYDNUT hydraulic nut is used in conjunction with a hydraulic pump fitted with an electronic pressure gauge and a depth micrometer
- The SOLY Drive-up Method can be fully utilised;
- SOLY Drive-upMethod for simplicity and accuracy.
SL-HYDNUT series hydraulic nuts are mainly used for seamless connection of connecting parts. Its working principle is to use ultra-high pressure oil to produce a thrust on the shaft and a tension on the sleeve; so that the shaft and sleeve are connected together evenly by force.
Available in both axial and radial oil injection;
Uniform distribution of pressure on the pressure ring;
Standard working pressure 0 – 150Mpa;
We also produce SL-HYDNUT50-1000 series hydraulic nuts with German technology, consult with SOLY engineers if you have special needs.
