Hydraulic nuts for upper loads can be set to a precise preload with an accuracy of up to 3% earth; they can be supplied with a stroke indicator that allows the amount of tension to be observed, measured and controlled during operation.

SL-HN series top load hydraulic nuts are especially suitable for tightening in narrow spaces and heavy duty vibrating machinery, and can be assembled with several bolts at the same time. The torque-free design avoids friction, bolt twisting and other factors affecting bolt preload, and the tightened bolt is subjected to pure tensile force.
