Sometimes mounting bearings in tapered housings can be a difficult and time-consuming process. However, with SOLY hydraulic nuts, mounting is very simple. Their use, especially for larger bearings, saves the need for heavy and time-consuming assembly work using shaft or socket nuts, impact spanners etc. Removing bearings with tapered bores from the retaining or withdrawal sleeves is often a difficult and time-consuming task. However, with the help of the SOLY hydraulic nut, this task can often be carried out easily. To do this, the hydraulic nut is screwed onto the sleeve and supported on the block or bearing. After connecting the oil pump, oil is pumped into the hydraulic nut, which moves the ring piston until the bearing comes loose.

Working Principle

SL-HM hydraulic nut is a high-tech product of our company, and its working principle is to use a simple ‘T-handle’ to rotate the ‘pressurised screw’ to press in the ‘pressurised piston’. At this time, the sealing hydraulic pressure increases and squeezes out the ‘ring piston’ and thus tightens the rotating tools (washers, tools, etc.).
